Description
This month we will talk more about software process and interplay between different processes.
We are lucky to have Rich Armstrong from FogCreek, who has spent a lot of time thinking about how to improve development, support processes, and how to grow and mentor your team. As many of you know, Fog Creek is a fascinating company founded on the principle that developer happiness is extremely important, and having an environment of great people will lead to great results.
Here are two of his blogs:

Speaker Bio: Rich Armstrong is the General Manager at Fog Creek Software, makers of FogBugz, Kiln, and Trello. His primary role is to plug the development organization into the external world in a way that strains neither the developer's attention, nor the customer's patience.
Rich started his tech career in QA at J.D. Edwards, cutting his coding teeth with automated testing, followed by great experience at MapQuest. Later at Google, Rich moved away from coding and progressed through a series of roles that blended technical understanding and helping people, something that still describes his current role. His last year at Google was spent on data mining.
Rich continues to dabble in data and metrics, but has accepted that his prime contribution is in knowing the questions to ask, not writing the code to answer them.
Afterwards, as always, we will stay for after-hours hanging out at a local bar nearby. Hope you can join us for that as well.
