But this isn't the case for the 100 million Americans with criminal records, who have served their time but remain permanently stigmatized and often can't even access minimum wage employment.</DIV>

<DIV STYLE="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><A HREF="http://www.defyventures.org" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow">Defy Ventures</A>' entrepreneurship, employment, and character training program is tackling the problems of generational poverty, recidivism and mass incarceration in a groundbreaking way. Defy recognizes that many former drug dealers and gang leaders can become successful entrepreneurs. Defy transforms the hustle of formerly incarcerated Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EITs) by offering intensive leadership development, Shark Tank-style business plan competitions, executive mentoring, financial investment, and startup incubation. Defy intentionally builds life-giving, authentic community between EITs and executive volunteers as they bond in their humanity.</DIV>
