Generously hosted by our legal sponsors, Morrison and Foerster at their New York office. Interested students, professors, and entrepreneurs are invited to join us for a short presentation on the Clean Energy Prize submission requirements and run of events followed by a networking event with CEP organizers and Morrison Foerster associates.
The event is hosted by the MIT Clean Energy Prize (cep.mit.edu), the world's premier student competition for early-stage clean tech ventures, with over $300K in prize.
The MIT Clean Energy Prize, open to all students at U.S. universities, is a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship and new venture creation in the clean energy space. Co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and NSTAR, the Clean Energy Prize aims to catalyze a new generation of clean energy solutions and provide the mentor and network resources to help them thrive. Past participants have raised in excess of $81 million in venture funding, including $13 million from the DOE ARPA-E.
