The who?

Andy Pernsteiner, Igneous - Andy is a Field Product Engineer for Igneous, where he helps customers craft solutions which leverage Igneous' unique capabilities. This includes 3rd party integration, custom development, and working with Ops teams to keep their workflows and data-driven pipelines running smoothly.Prior to Igneous, he spent 2 years running the technical Field Enablement team for MapR Technologies, a leading Hadoop and Data Platform provider. Andy also spent eight years at Isilon Systems in various roles, including escalations, delivery, and finally as the Principal Systems Engineer lead for Eastern North America.Andy currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. When not staring at screens of varying size, he enjoys road bicycling, hiking, and (attempting) home improvement projects.

Jeff Silberman,Portworx - Jeff is global solutions architect at Portworx, where his responsibilities include technical product management, technical marketing, technical account management, and hands-on integration for container schedulers (Mesos, Kubernetes, Rancher, Swarm) and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Previously, Jeff was a member of the original Cisco UCS Technical Marketing Team. Prior to Cisco, Jeff spent four years at NetApp in the Advanced Product Development Group, bringing some of the industry's first unified fabric solutions to market. Jeff has a BA in computer science from UC Berkeley.
