We are all managers. Even if manager is not in your job title, whenever you enter into an organization you need to work with your teammates to get things accomplished. This requires you to know how to effectively manage yourself, your work, and other people. 
Management is the most fundamental skill set not only to the success of any organization, but also to the success of your career. Yet, the vast majority of employees rarely have any type of formal management training to prepare them for such a vital role. To compound this problem, what it means to be a manager in the 21st century is dramatically changing with the typical boss-subordinate management style proving to be inefficient and destructive to organizational culture. Employees are also seeking greater meaning, purpose, and responsibility at work, requiring a shift in management that is no longer based on command and control but one of collaboration and a distribution of power.
In Managing for Impact: Building Foundational Skills for 21st Century Management you will begin developing the foundation from which all other management skills are built. This course will provide managers at all levels - from experienced managers to new, recent, or aspiring ones - with the fundamental mindsets and skills for unlocking human and social capital within your organization. Managing for Impact will show you how to empower employees to work productively, communicate effectively, share ideas, make decisions, and build innovative products and services that positively impact the lives of people around the world.
