Join us this month to hear Hazelcast CEO Talip Ozturk take us on a journey to explore Hazelcast, the leading open source in-memory data grid.
Hazelcast is a small 2.6Mb JAR library that is provided under the Apache 2 license. You simplly add it to your classpath and you get distributed collection classes like Distributed map, list, set, queue, topics and multimaps as well as distributed computing utilities like distributed locking, distributed executor service and MapReduce. Once embedded, Hazelcast JAR files automatically discover each other and elastically join to pool their RAM and processors. The JAR file has no dependencies except for the Java Runtime.
This hands-on talk will enable you to get started exploring this open source tool and help you to see how this tool can give your project a jump start in performance and scalability.
