Cheating on your day job? Hacking on something on the side? April's meetup is all about sharing your passion projects and taking it to the next level!

This month, we're changing up the format a little bit. Instead of our usual TED-style presentations, you'll be inspired by a series of 2-minute demos followed by rapid-fire round of live feedback from the audience (this means YOU).

We've already got some awesome pre-beta projects from even-more-awesome people lined up, but if you've got something you want to share, please let us know and we'll try to work you in.

As always, hot pizza, cold beers, and smart conversations will be aplenty! Hope to see you there!

Paired is Brandon Freiberg's passion project,born out of a Pernod Ricard Hackathon - in fact, it won first place! As you might have already guessed from the name, Paired isa recommendation engine for food-drink pairings. Although the inaugural launch centers around food and wine, the underlying algorithm is abstract enough to easily expand to include beer, cocktails, whiskies, etc.Brandon is particularly interested in feedback from anyone with extensive knowledge of food and drinks, especially anyone with real passion for the craft.

Kayla Matheus is currently an entrepreneur-in-training in 30Weeks, a founder's program for designers.MOTIis a personable new smart object that helps people form lasting habits through the combination of behavioral science, social robotics, and human-centered design. She is currently prepping for the beta launch and looking for a founding team member from the marketing/sales or data science worlds!
