Meet and network with marketing colleagues from a cross-section of industries, companies, and levels. Marketers from the following companies have attended in the past: Malibu-Kahlua, Procter & Gamble, Pepsi, NPD, Colgate Palmolive, Coty, L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Calvin Klein, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and American Express.

This month's event will be on Monday, November 12th from 6:30-9:00pm at 49 Grove in the West Village. The venue (49 Grove Street) is actually at the corner of Bleecker and Grove -- the entrance is next to Cafe Angelique.

49 Grove will be providing a few hors d'oeuvre platters and the following drink specials:

• $5 Beer

To make it easier to network, we're partnering with Topi, a mobile app available on iPhone and Android phones that lets you see who's around you at the event. Download the app prior to the Meetup and connect your LinkedIn account to Topi so others can see your name and profile information (title, company, etc.). Then you'll be able to see who's at the Meetup and message them through the app or simply find them and introduce yourself in person. When you arrive: 1. Be sure to fill out a nametag with your name and company or role. 2. Check-in to the NYC Marketing Mixer event on Foursquare. 3. Use Topi to find and message people you want to connect with.
