Description:

In this Music + Wearables Workshop, you will spend the evening designing aconductive costume to create sound. Each iteration of costume design will work within a different constraint, i.e. first only using conductive thread, then introducing conductive tape, etc. We will use coil tape, thread, pressure/touch sensors and bare conductive boards which you can program to render any sounds or songs you desire.

Watch an example of how a bare board works and just think of how many things we could do with it!

And here is some additional inspirationfor conductive costumes, using all of the materials we'll be working with!

Materials:

PLEASE NOTE, MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED!If you're interested in taking your costume home, there will be an associated materials cost of $10-$15depending on the amount of materials.
