About This Workshop
The goal of visual design is to communicate a specific message to a targeted audience. Through the intentional & aesthetic manipulation of elements, one is able to influence & inspire. Color theory, layout & typography are among the many areas covered in this course, as well as common practices, such as creative briefs & approval processes.
By mastering the basic principles of design, you can be confident that your creativity & effort is effective. And everyone is happy.

About the Instructor
Julie Krafchick
Designer
Julie Krafchick is a tech all-star with experience across branding, marketing, & UI design. She has spent a good portion of her career at Yahoo! working in advertising banner design, account management, product marketing & business strategy & operations. She currently runs her own freelance business doing product design, UI/UX, & marketing communication design & consulting. She also holds her BA from Boston University in Psychology/Advertising & a certificate in Graphic & Interactive Design from UC Berkeley.
