About the speakers
Alex Iskold is the Managing Director of Techstars NYC, overseeing selection & operations at the top accelerator. Techstars companies receive $120,000, access to mentors, and a 3-month support program in exchange for 7-10% of stock. Fewer than 1% of companies that apply are accepted into Techstars.
Previously, Alex was the CEO/Founder of GetGlue (acquired by i.tv, 2013), a leading social TV network, & Information Laboratory (acquired by IBM, 2003).
Nick Devane is the cofounder and CEO of Homemade (Techstars '15), a mobile app that allows cooks to build a personal brand selling food from home. The company works with hundreds of cooks across the United States to change our relationship with food.
Prevously, Nick worked in a variety of restaurants and production roles in NYC including opening his own coffee shop, Zulu's, in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
