<P><SPAN>We'll use a variety of awesome tools, like the command line, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jekyll, git, and more. You don't have to know these tools in advance but it's good to be familiar with some or all.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>You'll learn how these different technologies work together to produce webpages and simple website ready to be served by a web server. Because we'll build this website using Jekyll, the static site generator behind </SPAN><A HREF="https://pages.github.com/" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer noopener nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow nofollow noreferrer nofollow"><SPAN>GitHub Pages</SPAN></A><SPAN>, you'll be able to host your website from your GitHub account for free.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>This class is aimed at people who are ready to build and deploy their first website. This isn't going to rely on Wordpress: it will be a from-scratch project! </SPAN></P>
