A Transformed Economy: Man, Machines and the Network

For four years, the impact of tech and increasing interconnection on the economy and urban revival has shaped the agenda for our annual one-day Techonomy Detroit conference.

In 2016 were moving this conversation to our home base, New York City. Our program will focus on the question of what exactly the ubiquitous Internet of Things really means for cities, companies and communities.

When everything is instrumented and connected, it creates increased potential for efficiencies and enables new tools to address the challenges and opportunities that will drive the business and social structures of our interconnected, urbanized future.

The expanding digital economy is transforming ecosystems, and the underlying social and economic infrastructure of our cities. If we can accurately gain insights and correlations from the intelligence of the internet of things that matter, it will ultimately create a faster-growing, healthier and wealthier global society.

When data generation and connectedness between humans and things is a constant, few industries will be spared. Join us for a day of open and dynamic dialogue on the fast moving ideas, challenges and opportunities that emerge in our increasingly instrumented and connected world.
