NYC Python (@nycpython) and TheLadders (TheLadders.com), are proud to present a night of discussion on Thursday, September 18 on "where to go next" for aspiring Python programmers.

The night will kickoff with a talk byPaul Logston entitled So What's Next...?In this talk, Paul investigates the best ways for a programmer to grow out of "beginnerhood".

Following Paul's talk will be a panel and audience discussion on the subject of growing as a programmer.

Where should I focus? How do you pick a project to direct my learning? What open source projects are out there that need contributors? What libraries and frameworks are worth learning? We'll try to cover all of these questions and more!

Doors will open at 6:30P, and the event starts at 7:00P.
