Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, and Tech:NYC invite you to join the latest installment of the CornellTech@Bloomberg series, featuring Neil Blumenthal, co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, a transformative lifestyle brand that offers designer eyewear at a revolutionary price, while leading the way for socially conscious businesses.

Founded in 2010 at the University of Pennsylvania and now headquartered in New York City, Warby Parker has revolutionized the eyeglasses industry, bringing lower prices and e-commerce to the industry. The company has collaborated with luminaries, including musician Beck and model Karlie Kloss, and its styles have received praise from GQ, Vogue, and Oprah Winfrey, who included the brand on her list of favorite things in 2014. Organized as a public benefit corporation, Warby Parker has given away over one million pairs of glasses in the developing world through its buy one, give one program.

Neil will discuss his career, the rise of Warby Parker, the company's social mission, and the widespread adoption of its model by entrepreneurs across other industries.
