A Symposium with Leading Experts from Industry, Government and Academia

Big data is reshaping society. From Main Street to Wall Street, the harvesting and analysis of massive data sets is producing startling insights. Experts will discuss the automated technologies driving this revolution, their applications in finance and elsewhere, and some of the pitfalls. They will also explore the potential for sensor-enabled cities to reduce waste and improve public services.

The following registration fees include admission (with complimentary breakfast, lunch and evening receptions) to all DATA ON A MISSION events scheduled for March 31-April 1:

Columbia Alumni: $200
Data Science Institute Industry Affiliate: FREE
The following registration fees include admission (with complimentary evening reception) to both DATA ON A MISSION events scheduled for April 1 only*:

Columbia University Faculty and Students: FREE (+ optional $20 lunch ticket for opening symposium)
Faculty and Students from Other Educational Institutions: $50 (includes complimentary lunch ticket)

* Registration for the Mini-Symposium on the Internet of Things ONLY is free however, registration is still required.
