About the Instructor

Courteney Ervin is an Events Platform Engineer at CodeMontage. The confluence of open source and social good were the seed of her tech career, and she is thrilled to be writing code at the junction of such important movements. As a self-taught developer, Ervin is also firmly committed to fostering a more diverse tech industry through accessible educational opportunities and supports this commitment with her work on the CodeLift Project, an organization that teaches HTML & CSS to women of color.

Previously, Ervin taught over 100 students as a founding teacher of Dev Bootcamps NYC campus and has led events and tech projects at a variety of nonprofits.
