Description
A discussion with Eric Davich, Elias Roman, Peter Asbill and Elliot Breece of Songza.

In 2010, Elias, Eric, Peter and Elliot launched Songza, a ‘music concierge’ that improves your life by streaming the perfect playlist for whatever you’re doing (from waking up to sleeping, from working out to getting through the work day).

Recent Songza Accolades: Apple “App Store Best of 2012”, “Time Magazine’s 50 Best Websites of 2012”, PC Mag 2012 “Editors’ Choice”, Google Play “Editors’ Choice”, Apple App Store “Editors’ Choice”.

Elias Roman graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 2006. Prior to graduation, he co-founded AmieStreet.com and was named as among Business Week’s ‘Top 25 Entrepreneurs in America Under 25’ along with his co-founders. Amazon.com invested in AmieStreet, Inc. in 2007 and acquired the AmieStreet.com brand and customer base in 2010.

Eric Davich is the Chief Content Officer and Co-Founder of Songza. Prior to Songza, Eric and his partners ran the dynamically-priced download store, Amie Street (acquired by Amazon). Eric earned a BA, in Music with Honors from Bowdoin College in 2006 and was the recipient of the Sue Winchell Burnett Music Prize. When he’s not doing something involving music, Eric enjoys running barefoot, snowboarding, and going on culinary adventures.

Elliott Breece is the Chief Product Officer of Songza. Before joining Songza, he co-founded Amie Street (acquired by Amazon). He has a BA in Media, Cultures and Media from Brown University

Peter Asbill was a co-founder and the chief content officer of AmieStreet.com, the MP3 download store that pioneered a dynamic, community-driven pricing model. Because of Amie Street's social approach to content pricing and discovery, its founding team was recognized on BusinessWeek's "Top 25 Entrepreneurs Under 25" list and Billboard's "Top 30 Music Executives Under 30" list. In Aug. 2010, Amazon.com purchased AmieStreet.com's IP, after leading Amie Street's Series A in 2007, and the Amie Street team turned their attention to a new online radio service, Songza.com. Peter is currently the chief operating officer of Songza, a free music website that allows you create and listen to custom radio stations with your friends.
