Cloud Workload Protection Platform: IT Security Control in a Self-Service World

Adoption of hybrid cloud presents significant architectural challenges. Managing a single set of security policies across heterogeneous infrastructure increases complexity. This also increases costs and creates opportunity for human error. In addition, the onset of self-service cloud limits central ITs ability to enforce critical data protection, integrity, access control, residency, and availability policies.

To address these issues, Wall Street and F500-class firms are turning to a Cloud Workload Protection Platform that gives IT the control they need in a self-service world. Now, IT can enforce one single set of IT security controls across hybrid environments transparently, requiring no agents, OS modifications, or impact to developer workflow. The controls include encryption, cryptographic assurance, app and data segmentation, and visibility.

Uriel Cohen is the Director of Products for WireX Systems. Uriel leads both product management and product marketing activities. This role frequently puts him in the largest global enterprise companies and government security operations as an evangelist and educator. Prior to WireX, Uriel held Technical Product Management roles at Check Point, where he focused on building a successful roadmap for its FW-integrated Threat Prevention solution. With nearly a decade in cyber security, Uriel has become passionate about solving enterprise security challenges with technology innovations. Uriel holds a B.Sc with honors in mathematics from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
