The MakerHub is hosting a Pop Up Makerspace so that students can get hands-on experience with our technology.
Come by if you want to see3Dprinted objectsor our MakerBot 3D printerin action.We will be teaching students how to design 3D models withTinkerCAD.If you bring a laptop we can show you how to navigate the software. If you have used the software before, we can help with advanced tips & general 3D printing advice.
We will also haveGoogle Cardboardavailable so that students can experience distance parts of the world using virtual reality. Please preinstall Google'sExpeditions Appif you want to experience it on your phone.
If you are interested in developing your own interactive projects, or are just curious, come by to learn beginner electronics. We will haveArduino microcontrollers, resistors, & breadboards to light up LED circuits.
There will also be modular electronic toys likeCubelets & Littlebitsto demonstrate sensor based designs. We will even havebuilding toys like Legos, & arts & craftsso people can make whatever they want.

About the MakerHub
We are Baruch's resident makerspace for technology, entrepreneurship & design at Baruch College. As a space for hands-on learning, playing & making, the MakerHub helps students learn skills such as design thinking, 3D printing, website creation & more.
