<P><SPAN STYLE="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;"><BR>In the absence of other funding models, social entrepreneurs are increasingly turning to crowdfunding to get their organizations off the ground.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN STYLE="font-size: small; font-family: helvetica;">Join Bridge at Wagner, in partnership with the Stern Social Enterprise Association, the NYU Entrepreneurs Network, Greenhouse and CASEA, for a practical workshop by Indiegogo on how to build a successful crowdfunding campaign, followed by a panel of social entrepreneurs that have used crowdfunding successfully to scale their businesses. While this event is oriented specifically towards the challenges that social entrepreneurs face, the practical skills that attendees will learn are applicable to any breed of entrepreneur or innovator.</SPAN></P>

Her experience includes work across a variety of social sector fields and topics, including youth services, philanthropy, education, advocacy, and veterans' issues. Erin helped launch BCG's own Social Impact Practice Group, aimed to combine the company's private-sector expertise with their deep understanding of the world's most pressing issues. <BR> <BR>Erin has spent time in rural Gujarat, India working with grassroots social workers to increase female educational enrollment and working with two children's homes in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She was asked to join The Mayor's Fund to Advance NYC's Young Leaders Committee and previously served as Chairman of Educators 4 Excellence's Young Professionals Board. <BR> <BR>Erin is a regular contributor for the Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR). She received degrees in business from The Wharton School and in English from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Masters of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge.</P>

<P>Heat Seek NYC is a civic hacking project turned nonprofit tech startup, aimed at keeping the heat on for thousands of New Yorkers each winter. Heat Seek builds affordable, scalable temperature sensors that record accurate temperature readings once an hour in apartments receiving inadequate heat, store the data on our servers, and provide detailed temperature logs for use in housing court.</P>
<P>Noelle currently facilitate all aspects of Heat Seek's sensor distribution by forging partnerships with community organizations and tenant advocates to ensure that our sensors go to the tenants who need them the most. Her clients have included Urban Justice Center, Pratt Area Community Council, CASA, the Stuy Town-Peter Cooper Village tenants association, Fifth Avenue Committee, Carroll Gardens Association, and many others.</P>
<P>Noelle is also a graduate student at NYU Wagner School, where she studies non-profit management. She has been working in the non-profit sector for years and has a background in social justice.</P>

<P>In 2014, GET//OUT was brought to life by friends Taryn Miller-Stevens and Peter Stolarski, supported by the creative studios at HD Made and PlayLab. They tested the waters by launching GAY SCHOOL and co-producing the White House LGBT Innovation Summit.</P>
<P>Today, they're rallying the gang for BLgTUSA // America's First 50 State Food Tour for Equality (#BLgTUSA), connecting the classic BLT sandwich to LGBT rights. The 2015 national summer tour is about getting everyone out for the cause, both online and as they drive their BLgT Truck through your hometown this summer. And you're invited.</P>

<P><STRONG>If I have class at 6:45pm, will I still be able to attend?</STRONG></P>
<P>Yes! We're intentionally starting early so that you can catch the workshop and the panel discussion and still get to class on time. You'll just miss Q&A, so please sit near the back so you don't disturb the people around you when you have to leave.</P>
<P><STRONG>If I have to leave early, will I get a chance to ask the panelists a question?</STRONG></P>

<P>Yes, you need your NYU ID to get in.
