This class is for you.Rachel Presser's record-breaking business basics class is back for those who may have missed it the first time. She speaks directly from experience of helping former tax clients start businesses and analyze their decisions, then switching gears and trying to get capital from traditional sources like banks and angel investors to fund game development pursuits. Aiming to entertain as well as educate, her real world experience as a financial professional turned video game producer and designer will heighten your awareness of both the thinking and feeling aspects of running a game studio. She wouldn't be in adventure games if she didn't have some good stories to tell!

This class will cover the basics. Learn how to set up a business and choose your tax structure then keep track of your finances once you're all set up. Rachel will delve into everything from budgeting to capital-raising to weighing different pay structures and formalities associated with hiring others to join your company. She'll even provide an overview of sales and marketing basics.
