<P>Creativity is turning new ideas into reality. Creativity can be described as the ability to perceive the world in new ways & to solve problems. It involves two processes: thinking, then making. In this talk series, we'll welcome three creatives to the stage to discuss the value of investing in creativity, their practices, & discoveries throughout their creative careers.</P>

<P>Madelin is an independent entrepreneur, engineer, designer, & artist living in New York. She was an early engineer at Square, & has since worked with Facebook, IDEO.org, & many small startups. She's currently working on helping people take creative time off.</P>

He takes creative expression inspired by art, music, fashion, nature, science, & technology to produce work that has emotional resonance with his audience. Abdul Wahid has worked worked with the most innovative companies in the world from Apple, Square, Nest Labs, Uber, & Collective Health to enrich lives & push the human race forward.</P>

<P>Lance is a former aerospace engineer turned product designer. Hes worked at NASA, Lenovo, & founded DXLab Design to provide strategy, vision, & design guidance to companies leveraging autonomous vehicles, AR/VR, drone infrastructure, iOT, robotics, & smart spaces. So far, the startups hes advised have raised over 60M with one acquisition.</P>

<P>Yes, this event is 21+, & attendees will need to present a valid ID to join us. It's the beer!</P>

<P><STRONG>What are my transportation/parking options for getting to & from the event?</STRONG></P>
<P>Yelp's beautiful office is near the corner of New Montgomery & Mission St, right in the heart of San Francisco. It's easy to get to from BART, many buses, or your ride sharing app of choice. If you need to drive, paid parking is available nearby.</P>

<P><STRONG>Can I arrive after 8pm?</STRONG></P>
<P>No!! For building security staffing reasons, we can not let you in after 8pm. We're not joking - if it's 8:00.0001pm, you will be turned away. This really sucks, & we don't want it to happen - please arrive before 8pm.</P>
