Description

Hi Everyone,

With December in full swing we're excited to announce this month's New York Video Meetup - Holiday Edition! We have some amazing presenters in our lineup, and if that wasn't enough reason to come, we'll be heading over to a local dive after the event to bring in the holidays! AOL will be hosting us once again and if you haven't purchased your tickets yet, do so now. As usual you can enjoy a pizza and beer while watching the demos! Check out the presenters below.

You've been following all the focus (and $$$) that YouTube has been pouring into original content, well here's one of their hottest startup video channels - to share what they're doing with YouTube.

DRIVE

Christian Schnedler, COO, and Josh Vietze will be talking about DRIVE, one of the leading channels for automotive enthusiasts created as part of YouTube's Original Content Initiative. They are launching the first-ever exclusive Live Stream of a major sporting event December 15-16 that will not be broadcast through traditional media in any form, so don't miss the announcement at NYVM!

Another of New York's leading video tech companies, Boxee, has a major new piece of hardware to demo.

Boxee

Liz Delheim, Press Relations Manager, and Will Robinson, will be demo'ing Boxee TV, a groundbreaking new DVR with unlimited cloud storage and the ability to grab over the air local signals (free!). Boxee TV is turning heads in the set-top-box space, providing a new way to 'cut the cord' and get more control over your digital life. Boxee's future, so this one is definitely a must see!

Vuier

Mark Rybarczyk, Co-Founder, will be introducing us to Vuier - an online video platform that is changing the way Content Creators monetize their videos with micro-pay-per-stream, their proprietary embeddable e-commercie video player. Their tools provide a simple way to self-distribute and sell video streams to supporters - so if you're in the video production space you'll want to check this out.

Shelby.TV

Reece Pacheco, Co-Founder and CEO, and Chris Kurdziel, will be back to demonstrate a whole bunch of new advancements from Shelby TV - a smart way to view and share video. Shelby gives viewers a personalized stream of leanback video, and curators a way of building their own .TV network. Download the iPhone app or explore online at http://shelby.tv/explore.
