<P>The recentslump in oil prices has been the impetus to further diversify Norway's economy away from oil & gas and to foster a supportive environment for startups and entrepreneurship.We will briefly hear about some of the elements of this strategy -- part of Norway's <EM>'Innovation Outlook'</EM> -- from Hege Barnes, Director of Innovation Norway in New York.<BR><BR>The participants in the panel discussion that will follow, all of whom have either launched orsupported the development ofinnovative Norwegian startups, will discuss the challenges and opportunities they see as part of Norway's transition moving forward.<BR><BR>Finally, we will listen to pitches from 2 Norwegian startups,<A HREF="http://www.logunit.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Link to Emergency Log Unit" REL="nofollow">ELU</A> and <A HREF="http://bybubbly.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Link to Bubbly Group" REL="nofollow">Bubbly</A>, which participated in the very first <A HREF="http://www.norwaynya.com/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Norwegian New York Accelerator Program" REL="nofollow">Norwegian New York Accelerator program</A>, a joint initiative between Innovation Norway and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator.<BR><BR>AGENDA</P>
