<P>During this seminar we'll be looking at the ins and outs of merchandise planning so that you can run your business like a pro. From downloading weekly selling reports and drawing insights from them, to accurately assorting your line, to negotiating on claw backs with partner accounts at the end of the season, this course will cover it all. </P>
<P>Run by industry leaders in the space we'll break down the night into fun learning sessions and send you off with helpful materials at the end. Plus we'll have light bites and cocktails for you, since learning should still be fun, right?</P>

<P>ABOUT THE TEAM RUNNING THE WORKSHOP:</P>
<P><STRONG>David Lamer</STRONG> is a fashion industry leader with over 20 yearsexperience building successful brands including Kate Spade, Tommy Hilfiger, Lambertson Truex, andCole Haan.His deep experience in the fashion industry led him to start CORE and conceptualize PreeLine,recognizing the dire need to help brands and retailers gain strategic footholds to succeed and to changethe process by which brands make inventory and assortment decisions. He was one of the first industryleaders to challenge the industrys reliance on hindsight data and start the movement towards collectingpredictive insights. A quant and technologist by nature, David was a pioneer of the merchandiseplanning process for the fashion industry, developing tools and technologies that are still widely used byplanning organizations today.</P>
<P><STRONG>Karen Fechter</STRONG>brings 20+ years of experience as a merchandising executivein the fashion industry working for brands like Diane Von Furstenberg, Coach, and Kate Spade. She isknown for being a balanced left-brain/right-brain merchant with the ability to translate business needsinto clear design briefs and product architecture strategies.</P>
<P><STRONG>Julia Macalaster</STRONG>comes from a consultancy background and focuses onplanning and operational opportunities, as well as marketing through social media channels. Juliagraduated from Princeton University and worked with Booz & Co before founding her own startup. Shehas worked at Mack Weldon, as well as MicroStrategy.</P>
