Susan is a freelance data scientist. Her expertise is in data-related training & education, conscientious application of data science for business, & data consulting for social change.
Susan works in a variety of fields, from academia to industry, corporate to nonprofit, including notable data leaders like New York Times, Google, CUNY, & DataKind. Susan holds a Masters in Statistics at Columbia University & a Bachelors in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania ,Wharton Business School.

At FFL, we dive into emerging machine learning capabilities, we build fully functioning prototypes exploring state-of-the-art technology, & we advise companies how to get ready for the future (of machine learning & AI)-we think about sci-fi & keep it real. Friederike has more degrees than is wise (five) including a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from University College London (UCL). Her music choices are not suitable for civilized dinner parties.
