Description

Dorm Room Fund comes to New York!

What would you build with $20,000?

Dorm Room Fund is an all student investment team that invests in student-run companies. First Round Capital provides the capital and mentorship – students make all the investment decisions.

The first Dorm Room Fund launched in Philadelphia last fall with an investment team comprised of UPenn and Drexel graduates and undergraduates – and we couldn't be more excited about the entrepreneurial spirit, the dorm room start-ups funded and the overall success of the students in Philadelphia.

So now, we're super excited to bring the Dorm Room Fund New York! We invite you to come learn more about Dorm Room Fund at our NYU campus information session and meet the Dorm Room Fund Team: Phin Barnes, partner at First Round Capital, Aaron Szekel, Dorm Room Fund Philadelphia, and CeCe Cheng, Director of Dorm Room Fund.

We will be accepting applications for the investment team from students at NYU, Columbia, Princeton and Cornell Tech Campus starting Feb 25, 2013 at www.dormroomfund.com/apply (link will go live the night before).

Warby Parker, Dropbox, Birchbox, Milo and many more companies were built when the founders were still in “dorm rooms” – join us and help fund and build the next billion dollar company.

*Free pizza and drinks served! Space is limited. Registration required.
