This can range from the steps we take, to the posts we make, to the conditions of our environment and the collective concience of our current society. While companies begin to make sense of this data, the demand for data scientists is expected to continue to rise exponentially during the next decade. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;"><SPAN> </SPAN>Yan Kou, Insight Program Director, will be leading a discussion on careers in data science and dataengineering. Top companies are hiring data scientists and engineers to help find insights in the petabytesof data that they collect every day. Scientists and engineers from diverse fields, including physics,astronomy, computational biology, neuroscience, math, and statistics are playing key roles intransforming the way of working with data to impact our daily lives.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;"><SPAN> </SPAN>The Insight Fellows Program is a training fellowship designed to bridge the gap between academia and acareer in data science. Insight provides seven-week, full-time, postdoctoral training fellowships in SiliconValley, New York and Boston. They offer a full tuition scholarship, dedicated office space, and project-based learning under the guidance of top industry mentors. Over 300 Insight alumni are now working atFacebook, Apple, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Netflix, NBC, MTV, Khan Academy, Biogen and other topcompanies.</SPAN></P>
