About the Event:

In an interview, have you ever been asked to explain protypal inheritance?

Learn JavaScript's method of dealing with inheritance. The JavaScript language implements inheritance differently than languages like Java & Python.Knowledge of this implementation is useful for moving from a beginner to more advanced JavaScript programmer.

We at Galvanize have decided to offer in-depth coverage of computer sciencein our 6-month, full-time Web Development Immersive. Computer science topics in JavaScript, such as inheritance, will help our students (and you) in development, debugging code, & being all-around better programmers.

In this lesson, you'll learn about the new keyword in JavaScript, the protptype chain, & the use of the built-in function - Object.create. You'll leave with a repo with additional exercises so you may continue your practice in the future.
