Description

Each month, the PubTech Meetup invites in a developer or technologist from the publishing world to discuss the unique issues and solutions of our industry.

On December 13th, we're excited to feature Brad Kagawa, the Vice President of Technology for The New York Times, in a discussion with Contently web developer Dan Barrett about custom building a CMS, as opposed to vendor and open source solutions. When he joined the Times in 2006, he led the development of the in-house build web CMS that power's the Old Gray Lady's website, nytimes.com. Brad will also discuss the how the Times' CMS accounts for its dual production in both digital and print formats.

Pizza and drinks will be served!
