Recognized for installing 300 kW solar PV systems, the largest solar renewable energy system on a residential development in New York at the Gateway Elton Street Phase II, Bright Power's energy saving innovations have also featured in the sustainable affordable housing development, "Via Verde" in the Bronx. <P STYLE="text-align: left;"><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">Ms. Schellins manages projects through the NYSERDA New Construction Program in New York City and Westchester. A LEED GA and is an Energy Manager in Training (EMIT), Jordan has also worked as an Assistant Project Manager on the NYSERDA Existing Facilities Program.</SPAN></P>
<P STYLE="text-align: left;"><SPAN STYLE="color: #000080;"><STRONG STYLE="font-size: small; line-height: 1.6em;"><SPAN STYLE="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">New Construction Program</SPAN></STRONG></SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><SPAN STYLE="color: #000080;">:</SPAN> Through this program, $90,981,268 is available to conduct technical assessments of energy efficiency improvements in building designs and to offset a portion of the incremental capital costs to purchase and install energy-efficient equipment in buildings to reduce energy consumption. Additional incentives and services are offered for buildings that achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED<SUP></SUP>) or New York Collaborative for High Performance Schools (NY-CHPS) certification.</SPAN></P>
<P STYLE="text-align: left;"><SPAN STYLE="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: small;">The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), a public benefit corporation, offers objective information and analysis, innovative programs, technical expertise, and funding to help New Yorkers increase energy efficiency, save money, use renewable energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. NYSERDA professionals work to protect the environment and create clean energy jobs. NYSERDA has been developing partnerships to advance innovative energy solutions in New York State since 1975.</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-size: small; line-height: 1.6em; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">NYSERDA is primarily funded by state ratepayers through the System Benefits Charge. These funds are allocated toward energy-efficiency programs, research and development initiatives, low-income energy programs, and environmental disclosure activities.</SPAN></P>
