He also helps run the First Growth Venture Network which is a New York City-based technology accelerator.

David Drake was part of the lobbying effort that led to the signing of the JOBS Act in April 2012. David founded LDJ Capital and has spent 20 years helping technology, media, and telecommunication companies raise capital. The Soho Loft is a global platform hosting events to provide education and leadership training in crowdfunding, angel networking, and non-conventional funding. David was one of the original 6 founders of CFPA and CFIRA. He was recently US Commerce Delegate to the European Union as a JOBS Act expert.
