EVENT DETAILS |
Bloomberg, Cornell Tech, & Tech:NYC invite you to join us for the latest installment of the CornellTech@Bloomberg series, featuring Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO & co-founder of VaynerMedia, partner at Vayner/RSE, & four-time New York Times best-selling author.
As a true master of branding, Gary Vaynerchuk believes that dedication to building a strong brand & an engaged community is an entrepreneur's greatest asset, serving as a magnet for opportunity. It is this dedication, combined with his innate business acumen, razor-sharp sales tactics, & unrelenting work ethic, that has led him to successfully identify opportunities & create & lead multiple prominent businesses.
As a serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, & author, Gary Vaynerchuk has established himself as an influential member of New York's venture capital, digital media & startup ecosystem. His entrepreneurial journey began when he was a child, where he used his natural charm to build multiple small, sales-focused businesses. From there, he helped his father build one of the first e-commerce wine websites, using content marketing to grow Wine Library into a multimillion-dollar company. This experience laid the foundation for his focus on building brands throughout the rest of his career.
Gary is also an early investor in multiple successful & emerging companies, including Twitter, Tumblr, Venmo, & Uber. In this role, he serves as a thought leader & mentor to both established & aspiring entrepreneurs.
Gary will be joined on stage by Bloomberg's own Scarlet Fu to discuss his entrepreneurial journey & the importance of building a brand, as well as offer advice on building successful businesses as both an investor & entrepreneur.
