<P>Startup companies were some of the earliest adopters of cloud computing, but in the last few years cloud providers have made a concerted effort to develop features geared towards large enterprises. While typically slow to embrace newer technologies, enterprises are starting to consume more and more cloud services. At this New York Technology Council event, we explore the acceptance of cloud computing by large enterprises and hear first-hand from companies that are at the leading edge of cloud computing adoption.<BR><BR>Doors open at 6:00PM, program starts at 6:30PM. Light refreshments will be served.<BR><BR><STRONG>SPEAKERS</STRONG><BR><BR><STRONG>Peter Rowlinson, VP of Technology and CTO, Hearst Business Media</STRONG><BR><BR>Peter Rowlinson is the Chief Technology Officer at Hearst Business Media, a global technology leader delivering information, insights, analytics, and workflow solutions to meet worldwide needs in the finance, healthcare and transportation markets. Its holdings include renowned brands such as Fitch Group, one of the leading global ratings agencies; the Hearst Health network of market-leading healthcare companies First Databank, Zynx, MCG and Homecare Homebase, which provide care guidance to patients, hospitals, and insurers; and Black Book, MOTOR Information Services and Veretech, the premier suppliers of automotive data. Hearst Business Media companies have offices in more than 30 countries.<BR><BR><STRONG>Anil Nair, SVP Technology, LendKey</STRONG><BR><BR>Anil Nair oversees LendKey's Engineering and Infrastructure teams. Prior to LendKey, Anil was the CTO at JobTarget, managing their technology, UI and operations team. At JobTarget, he grew the technology team from 5 to 75 folks, across 3 countries, and scaled up the application to handle 2.5 million+ postings. Prior to JobTarget, he was the Director of Application development at Priceline.com, managing the technology team for the car rental product, and scaling up the product to be a $350 million+ product. Anil holds a Masters of Science degree in Technology Management from Fairfield University.<BR><BR>Additional speakers to be added.<BR><BR><STRONG>MODERATOR</STRONG><BR><BR><STRONG>Thomas Shelford, President, Corsis LLC</STRONG><BR><BR>Thomas Shelford is the President and Managing Partner at Corsis, LLC. Corsis transforms IT from a risk into an asset through the Corsis Confidence Program, a combination of powerful business intelligence tools and services that helps investors, executives and technology managers establish confidence in the technology that runs their business. Thomas leads the company's business development efforts and provides subject matter expertise on IT due diligence assignments for deals totaling $400mm since 2010. He also serves as Interim CTO of various venture-backed technology startups, providing technology leadership that includes organizational restructuring, program planning, product development, and optimization of software development processes.</P>
