Used by Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, Airbnb and many others -- React is rapidly being adopted for its scale and functionality.
Learn about virtual DOM, components, lifecycle functions, usage of props and state, and common patterns in React programming. Build a front-end web app using React. Prior experience in JavaScript or participation Session 1 recommended.
The instructors are leaders in React with experience from Stanford University, Microsoft, Twitter, Cisco, IBM, NASA and numerous startups. We are here to support you.
Each session consists of an interactive class (3 hours, $100 each) that covers the material, followed by a hands-on workshop (3 hours, $200 each) for attendees to apply their new knowledge.
Additional workshop time for help with concepts, debugging, and general advice can be considered, yet it is not mandatory. Attendees can sign up for the workshop following the interactive session upon arrival.
The session requires attendees to work on Macbooks. For those who don't have one, loaners are available. Please contact the instructor before the days of sessions if loaners are needed.
