OpenPGP is a popular standard for many kinds of cryptographic communication, from confidential e-mail to identity certification to authenticatedsoftware delivery.
GnuPG is the flagship implementation of the OpenPGP standard. It hasseen some major developments over the last year, and more are yet tocome, as new software is built to support OpenPGP and as the standardbegins another round of revisions to incorporate more moderncryptography and (hopefully) fix some long-standing warts.
Come learn tricks and best practices for making the most of thisimportant toolkit, and get get a sense of the changes ahead.
Afterwards:
Join us afterwards at Bloom's Tavern where we'll continue the discussion over drinks and/or food. Bloom's Tavern is located at 208 E 58th St, between 2nd at 3rd.
