Pre-selected presenters deliver a 4-5 minute pitch with slides, followed by feedback from an expert panel, and other experts in the room. Following the pitches, investors, corporate executives and other audience members will have the opportunity to meet with each presenter. Who will pitch? We are looking for entrepreneurs innovating in fields such as Big Data, Health Wearables, Digital Health, Internet of Things, Mobile Hardware, Smart TV, Screen Technologies. Moderator Amy Millman, President, Springboard Enterprises Amy Millman is a passionate advocate for women entrepreneurs building Big Businesses Starting Small. In 2000, she co-founded Springboard Enterprises, a non-profit venture catalyst which sources, coaches, showcases and supports women-led companies seeking equity capital for product development and expansion. Springboard has assisted hundreds of women entrepreneurs in raising billions in investments and connecting with thousands of expert resources. The successes of Springboard entrepreneurs include 10 IPOs, legions of high value M&As and a community of accomplished serial entrepreneurs. During her career in Washington, DC, she served as a representative for several industry groups and was appointed as Executive Director of the National Women's Business Council during the Clinton Administration. She served on the boards of many organizations including her current service with JumpStart Inc. and Enterprising Women Magazine. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Masters degree from The George Washington University. Featured Panelist Sang Ahn, Managing Director of Strategic Investments, Samsung Sang is Managing Director and Head of East Coast Investments for Samsung's Open Innovation Center (OIC). OIC builds, buys, invests, and partners with innovative startups that can make a strategic impact for Samsung. Sang's investments at OIC include companies in the mobile payments, VR, and personalization spaces. Previously Sang was a Principal at Dawntreader Ventures ($300mm venture fund based in New York) where he served as a Board Director of startups including Greenplum (database software, acquired by EMC), Moreover Technologies (content aggregation, acquired by VeriSign), Peer39 (semantic search, acquired by DG), Tutor.com (online education, acquired by IAC), and Gizmo5 (voip, acquired by Google).
