What would you say if I told you that improv comedy isn't about being funny? It's about being a good communicator & an even better team member. The reasons why we find humor in improv scenes is because they are rooted in human principles of what it means to best communicate with others. Often times in life, we find ourselves stuck, or saying no to others, or nervous to commit to something we know is in our best interests. In business we get distracted with conflicting goals, the no's, & the standstills. Learn practical improvisation skills that will directly benefit you in life & your current role. This lunch-hour event will take you through hands-on exercises geared towards stretching you to invest in the yes, not the no.

Please note: lunch will not be provided.

Brian Nelson performs & teaches improv with Improv for the People, a studio based in Culver City, CA. He uses improv to build teams, relational engagement, & trust. Brian, a Los Angeles native, holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management & Marketing from Loyola Marymount University & works as an Admissions Producer with General Assembly.
