Job Description
We’re looking for a few great engineers to work directly with our CTO to build the product from the ground up. As we are a new startup, there is no code to maintain or bugs to fix, instead the first engineers will be responsible for creating the platform with the cutting edge web technologies.
We’re a small team of 5 people with financial, technology, and startup experience (we’ve worked at places like E*TRADE, Deloitte, Accenture, Morgan Stanley). We also have a very impressive Board consisting of C-level executives at market leading companies within the financial & marketing verticals. We've had discussions with a number of venture capital firms, private equity firms, and Fortune 500 companies whom all agree that our product will be uniquely positioned in this new market.
We’re working in the city’s newest co-working space in midtown Manhattan, which hosts a number of startups and small businesses, along with unlimited coffee, tea and beer. Responsibilities/Skills
• Hands-on front-end and/or back-end web development
• Working Knowledge of one of the following: Java, JRuby, Python
• Proficiency with front-end technologies (CSS/HTML5, Javascript, JQuery)
• Excellent problem solving skills
Experience
• CS degree or related experience (no degree, no problem; no brain, problem)
• Demonstrable software development experience
