Job Description
Attention is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to work across the Consumer & Lifestyle team. The candidate must be extremely self-motivated, a strong writer and editor, a stealthy researcher and very social media savvy. The position will be full-time and paid; however, school credit is available. General duties for this role include:

-Daily media monitoring of targeted outlets and reporting (via Google, HootSuite, and other tools)
-Managing and monitoring Facebook, Twitter and other pages/groups
-Updating and managing media lists
-Conducting media outreach
-Writing various PR materials
-Providing admin support

To qualify for this role at Attention, an individual should possess the following:

-Proficiency in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and other social media channels. By proficient, must be familiar with using social media as a marketing and PR tool, not just for personal use.
-Moderate experience in conducting media outreach and writing press materials
-Strong verbal and written communication / editing skills
-Good organization skills and the ability to handle various projects simultaneously
-Ability to work individually and take initiative
