We are looking for a smart front-end web developer with proven experience in building consumer facing websites. You should not be afraid to think outside the box, and be adept at iterating the design and implementation rapidly. If your idea of fun is a serious discussion at the whiteboard of how to design and implement a slick UI in HTML5 then your the person we need.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and help maintain production website
- Develop new features, fix bugs, optimize the site
- Improve existing applications
- Implement new UX/UI ideas
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in AJAX (jQuery), HTML 5
- Can rapidly execute
- Familiar with the agile philosophy for software development
- A team player who can be productive in a startup environment
- Look and feel aren’t just words for you
NICE TO HAVE
- Knowledge of Grails framework and Groovy language
- Java development experience
- Functional or declarative programming experience
- Experience working with off-shore teams
- Experience with Marketplace projects
- Startup experience
