Java Developer

Conde Nast software engineers develop the next-generation technologies for which we’ve become world-renowned. We are a focused team of developers with a wide range of skill sets to build highly-available, high-performance web sites and associated web service platform. This system services tens of millions of page views per day, so writing code that can scale horizontally is key. In this position, you will work closely with the core sites development team to build the front and back-end frameworks. Positions exist for top-notch senior level Java Developers who love working with the following:

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experiences and qualities:
Innovative, self-motivated, a quick study, and willing to develop new skills while constantly improving existing abilities
Good understanding of POOP (Principles of Object Oriented Programming)
Background in web development and database development
Familiarity with web applications, architectures, and deployment
Strong multi-tasker with exceptional time-management skills
