Company
Gracious Eloise
Gracious Eloise is a platform that helps businesses build strong personal relationships with their customers in a trackable, scalable, and efficient way.

Job Description
We are a young, hungry and fun technology start up who loves to work on complex challenges. We have developed a patented technology to replicate handwriting: our world-class product will revolutionize how people connect with each other on a deeper level.

With our recent series A funding, we want to continue building our beta product and scale it. We are looking for an API developer, who shares our values, to take our platform to the next level. You will work closely with our VP of Engineering in order to optimize our GraciousApp website and enhance the user experience for all Gracious Eloise customers.

Are you up for the challenge?

Gracious Eloise:

Gracious Eloise is a very innovative technology company based in New York that aims at helping people show that they care. The company is currently finalizing its $1.6M series A fundraising. We have spent the past several years working on a handwritten replication algorithm. Our patented technology, called "Quilltech", allows the user to replicate all the nuances and variability of handwriting, unlike the fonts

existing on the market. Our technology combined with our web app completely streamlines the

process of writing a "handwritten"-note: making the process as easy and fast as sending an email.

The platform is currently in beta with clients ranging from the New York Stock Exchange to Prudential Douglas Elliman to Tory Burch.

We are planning to develop three products built on top of our platform:

1. Our corporate product is focused on the corporate market where high touch interactions are becoming more and more critical to close deals. This enables professionals who want to connect with their clients in a more personal way with a fast, efficient and mobile tool - freeing up their time to focus on sales. The corporate market alone is worth ~$8B (between retail, real-estate, political advocacy, hospitality and non-profits...). The platform can even help track, measure and scale handwritten communications.

2. Our licensing product is focused on integrating our technology with other companies so they can offer the service to their customers. Our focus is in building partnerships with bridal registries (160M notes per year) and stationery/greeting card companies ($7B market).

3. Our consumer product aims at serving directly consumers for their stationery and cards' needs.

Job Discription:

The Front-end developer will report to the VP of Engineering and is responsible for working with the development team and creative director. You should have experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery; Responsive Web Design; Mobile Framework like PhoneGap or Native iOS /Android development; Familiarity with GIT and Github; Familiarity with Ruby and Rails; Strong communication skills; Ability to write appropriate code for all browsers and test for maximum Cross-Browser Compatibility; and the ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
