Job Description
Greentech Media (www.greentechmedia.com), the leading online media company focused on the emerging greentech B2B marketplace, is seeking a key salesperson to join our growing company.
You will be charged with representing our product portfolio of online advertising, demand generation, multimedia, and live event sponsorship programs for green / clean energy companies (eg solar energy, smart grid technology, energy efficiency products, etc). Prior experience selling the benefits of online media and/or live events is key, so that you may hit the ground running, but we will consider candidates with a background in a related field such as clean energy. You are a team player and are seeking to work with other highly motivated individuals with a "start-up" mentality. In short, we are seeking a strong, individual sales contributor, with a desire to make their mark in an organization where you can shine.
An appropriate candidate will have the ability to find prospective new business, develop these accounts into proven customers, and manage growth via a variety of new products offerings. Regular travel is required with the position, primarily surrounding key industry events and target account meetings.

Desire Skills & Experience
A qualified candidate will have 3+ years experience with online advertising sales with a firm grasp on the benefits of digital media and/or live event sponsorships. Other key criteria includes:
BA/BS Degree
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Motivation, drive, competitive nature
Fearless approach to sales and prospecting
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills
Track record of meeting and achieving sales goals

Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience with SalesForce (or equivalent CRM).
Experience with Apple software, systems and networking.
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Google Analytics. |
