Job Description
Aereo is looking for a self-starter to architect and manage our business intelligence data warehouse and pipeline. This is a ground floor opportunity at a nascent New York City start up to build and maintain the system that will drive business decisions at every level of the company.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Develop SQL scripts in order to extract relevant data from Aereo production database; transform data where necessary so it can be quickly and efficiently accessed using BI applications and load this data into our BI data warehouse
Create reports in Tableau Server, Excel and other tools
Work with engineering team to optimize flow of data into BI data warehouse
Add other data sources to BI warehouse where necessary for end user reports
Evaluate third party tools (such as CRM, email service providers) that will connect Aereo BI Warehouse
Support any implementation of third party tools
Skills & Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
SQL and Excel skills are essential
Bachelor’s degree coupled with 2-5 years of database mining experience
Tableau a strong plus
PHP skills a plus
