Job Description
Reflexions Data is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide day-to-day support to both our Flatiron, NYC and White Plains offices. The position will have exposure to many of the latest technologies and frameworks and will work closely with a talented team of technologists delivering innovative and industry leading products. While experience is appreciated, the ability to learn and apply new technologies is equally important if not more so. This is a salaried full-time position with benefits.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with Developers and Project Managers in the creation of new applications and product enhancements
- Develop and execute manual and automated test strategies
- Conduct unit, integration, regression, functional, exploratory, load, and security tests
- Log defects and feature requests into our tracking system and see each one through to completion
- Strive to reduce the defect ratio, improve uptime and error rate metrics, and ultimately improve the performance of all our applications
Requirements:
- Passion for quality assurance of various applications, systems, and hardware
- Experience with cross browser testing, including mobile browsers
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, perseverance and patience
- Eye for details and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work among multiple teams and communicate effectively to both technical and nontechnical teammates
- A willingness to gain and share knowledge
Familiarity and understanding of PHP or similar modern programming languages a plus
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
