Job Description
At Efficiency 2.0, we believe that outstanding design is critical to the success of our products. We are looking for a senior web designer to join a team that works in an agile rails environment. This person should be ambitious and confident in his or her ability to produce effective designs for web apps.
We are looking for the right person, so if you think you have the chops - we would love to hear from you. This position is for full-time employment, on-site at our office in NYC's Financial District.
Responsibilities
Be the design advocate for the company
Own the design aesthetic for each of our web apps
Design high quality web applications
Utilizes storyboards, wire frames, mock-ups, and whiteboards to facilitate critical design thinking
Handle additional design tasks as required (email design, landing pages, sales material)
Qualifications
Experience writing HTML and CSS
Outstanding online portfolio of successful web work
Experience with grid based designs
Mastery of web design layout tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
A passion for keeping current with recent trends and best practices
Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a web designer
