Description
An artist is more than just a painter. Backplane and Spotify present the Artists Hack, a hackathon dedicated to building the future of music, art, video, collaborative thought during SxSW.
RSVP's will open this week!
Preliminary schedule:
10am: Arrive, networking, brunch
10:45am: Welcome from Backplane and Spotify
11:00am: API demos, open call for hack ideas
12pm: Lunch
6pm: Dinner
7:30pm: Closing remarks from Matt Michelsen, Backplane CEO
8pm: Hacking ends, demos begin. Judges will review as a group and rank ideas
9pm: Judges award best prizes
DJ performance (TBD)
Live Broadcast
Live web cast; featuring play-by-play commentary from top YouTubers (broadcast to Times Square via NASDAQ)
