How do great product leaders nail the strategy after joining a new company? VTS Chief Product Officer, Gijo Mathew (https://www.linkedin.com/in/gijomathew/), joins the NY Product community in a fireside chat with Blue Apron VP Digital Product, Ed Macsmith (https://www.linkedin.com/in/edward-macsmith-21752411/). Theyll talk product leadership when joining a company that's already well on it's way, evaluating markets (it's all about the TAM!), & building world class teams.

Gijo has more than two decades of experience in shaping strategy & leading the development of products at both established & emerging companies. As Chief Product Officer at VTS, the commercial real estate industry's leading leasing & asset management platform, Gijo leads product, design, & innovation teams to develop the solutions trusted by landlords & brokers to manage more than 10 billion square feet of assets globally. Prior to VTS, Gijo served as CPO at Web.com, Vice President of Product Management of IT Management SaaS at Nimsoft, Head of Product at Orchestria, & Vice President of Product for Security Solutions at CA Technologies.

Ed recently joined Blue Apron as VP of Digital Products after product leadership roles at The Knot Worldwide / The Bash, Managed by Q, Etsy, & Amazon. In addition to his work in product management, Ed has been a UX designer & design leader for Australia's largest insurance companies. Ed's time at Amazon ingrained in him the power of customer obsession & he's excited to extend his experience to connect online & offline products at Blue Apron.

We are thrilled to have two amazing NYC product leaders together to share their best practices with us in an intimate setting. The fireside chat will go from 6:30-7:30pm on September 16. Join us from 6pm & after the chat for light food & beverages, & to get to know other NYC product leaders!

Also! If you haven't grabbed your ticket for the NY Product Conference, that's coming up on Nov 9. Excited to see you there with leaders from UserTesting, Zoom, SVPG, Spotify, & many others. Hoping for 10+ point NPS jump this year! Here's a code to save $100 to get full access for $399: NYPCEB39950. Or even better- bring a friend with the 2-pack & use the code to pay $325 per ticket! http://nyproductconference.com
